A free-flowing short film created to celebrate the 21st-century polymath, James B. Whiteside, a principal dancer with the American Ballet Company, drag performer, recording artist and LGBTQ+ activist. Whiteside pushes the boundaries of his craft, incorporating interpretive and modern elements to the sometimes rigid environement of famed ballet institutions. In this film, we explore the many shades that exist within the colorful performer.
